Innovative electronic music composer and live performer, Deadmau5, has released a brand new video for his single 'Ghosts N Stuff'. The track sets the stage for Joel Zimmerman's (aka Deadmau5) second album 'For Lack of a Better Name' via Ultra Records released on September 22, 2009.
Directed by Colin O'Toole, the "Ghosts N Stuff" video follows Deadmau5 as he lays on his death bed when his soul escapes his expiring body for a disoriented fantasy night of mischief, tattoos, food fights and costume parties, only to be resurrected back into Deadmau5 form.
For the upcoming album, the new version of this single includes vocals from Pendulum frontman Rob Swire. The two have been bumping into each other backstage at various festivals over the course of the last year. Having a mutual respect for each others' music, a collaboration was inevitable. This timed nicely as the Mau5 was looking for someone to do the vocals on one of his key tracks. The two finally got into the studio earlier this year and the result is a low-end electro stomper of huge proportions.
